Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio
Real Estate Law
My grandfather died - his wife had a foreclosure filed against her - my father and his siblings have been named as defendents/heirs on the legal papers sent to them - when he contacted the atty. sending the papers he was told to contact his attorney for answers. Are the heirs responsible for this debt and since they are named as defendents, will this go on their record. My father is very concerned over all the court papers he and my uncles keep receiving in the mail.

Re: Real Estate Law
you should get a lawyer, but not because of liability. You could end up with an inheritance.
