Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio
My sister will be receiving a small inheritance, enough to pay off private student loans. She receives SSI and Medicaid and we thought it might be best to contact a lawyer about a special needs trust so that she would still be eligible for SSI and Medicaid. My question is since special needs trust can be used to help pay for education can the money be use to pay off the past student loans?
