Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio

My Step-Mom is going to inherit some land and money from her ailing mom. She has three sisters and two brothers she will have to split it with. My Step-Mom is not in the best health either and it looks like she may not outlive her Mom. Would my Dad, who has been married to her for Twenty years, receive her share if she passes?

The answer to your question depends of whether her mother has a will and/or trust and the will or trust included provisions for your stepmother's family and husband to inherit if your stepmother predeceases her. If her mother dies without a will or trust, your dad and any children your stepmother has can inherit via intestate succession.
