What happens to stock splits, dividends, etc

Will created in 1982. Bequested AT&T stock to sister. Later became incompetent and dies 2006. Stock has split etc in interim, what is considered AT and T stock now?

If the will says that AT+T stock goes to an individual, whatever that stock has transmuted and grown into goes to that person, unless the testator has exhibited a contrary intention.

Stock activity can be traced, and their activity doesn't affect ownership. I suggest contacting the financial institution that manages this stock.
