As trustee of an estate, are there any requirements for closing a trust, after the final disbursement of funds from the trust accounts?

I suggest notifiying by letter the beneficiaries that the trust has terminated effecitve a certain date. If the trust estate was filed with the IRS, also send a notice of termination.
