If your uncle died without a spouse or children, then you would be an "heir at law" and entitled to receive notice as well as a copy of the will. You would also have a right to contest the will if you have the property grounds in which to contest it and a right to agree on your counsin's appointment as executrix. If your uncle died without a will, you may be entitled to a portion of his estate. If you have further questions or would like a free consultation, please contact me at 216-378-7570, my website is www.socrateslegal.com.
