Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio

Unknown inheritence

My sons just found out that when their Grandfather died a few years ago that he had left them an inheritence, their father let their Aunt be the excutor; and she either has or misused it. It was in the 3 or 4 hundred thousand dollar range. The boys never got the money left for them. Do they have any recourse?

Re: Unknown inheritence

Absolutely, if this information is correct. But I am skeptical, because if the inheritance went through Probate Court, the executor has to provide the Court with receipts for all expenditures, including distributions of inheritance. This can be checked at the Hamilton County Probate Court's web site.

If this is true, you need to hire an attorney to take action to recover the money.

Let me know if you need me to investigate further.
