No will from deceased
with no will in place from the deseased and with only surviving adult children what happens to the deseased posessions ie house, car, and personal posessions

If the deceased died without a will and is survived by children then the estate would be divided between the surviving children and the children of any deceased child would get his or her share.
If the house and the car were in the deceased's name only you will need to go to the probate court and have one of the surviving children appointed as administrator. That child can then transfer the property and take care of any debts of the deceased.
