Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio
Several years before my father passed away he and my mom did a will. In the will their house (paid), CDs, all assests would be split 5 ways. (their are 5 children). My father passed away in 2000. Here lately my mom gave my oldest brother the house, plus his name on all her CDs, everything is now in his name. My question: when my mom passes away the other 4 children get nothing, and the oldest brother gets to keep everything?
My account has already been charged.

When your father gave your mother everything she is now the owner and your father's will no longer controls.
If your oldest brother is joint on all the accounts and property then it is his. You may want to talk to your mother about this. Often times older persons add a child as joint owner without realizing what this means when they die. They think there Will will still control.
