Legal Question in Workers Comp in Ohio

should this be covered under workers comp?

i dislocated my knee by slipping on ice in my employers parking lot...i did it after i had clocked out and was leaving to go home...i was clearly off of the job...should this have been covered under worker's comp?...i feel that they are trying to railroad me and i need some answers...thank you!

Yes. Ohio law provides your injury is compensible as you were in the zone of employment.The zone denotes the place of employment and surrounding area including the parking lot. Although you clocked out you are still covered and have a valid claim.
