Legal Question in Workers Comp in Ohio

SI company problems

My husband was injured Feb. this year, still not recovered. When he was booted from light duty and put on TT benifits shouldn't the amount be 72% of his pre injury earnings for the first 12 weeks then drop to 66.6%? They only paid 68.8% and are now not giving us any information on his claim, won't talk to me, and last dr appt the field nurse basically made me leave the room so she could be in there. What should we do to get this going agian? File another complaint with bwc? This is a SI company he works for.

Re: SI company problems

There is no benefit to filing a second claim. Your best hope of getting things straightened out is to get an attorney involved. Workers compensation cases are handled through my office on a contingency basis. You do not have to pay money up front and any fee that is earned comes out of the proceeds from the claim.

If you would like more details I will be happy to answer any questions you may have. I have handled work injury cases for over thirty years and will be happy to discuss this with you in more detail. Feel free to give me a call-no charge and no obligation for the telephone call.

Good luck!
