Re: Workers Compensation

If you were injured on the job, you are entitled to recieve a portion of your wages while you are off of work. You are also entitled to have your medical paid for. If you have permanent injuries, you are entitle to apply for permanent disablitly compensation. This may be partial or total, depending on your injury. This compensation for disability cannot be applied for until 40 weeks from when you have reached maximum medical improvement and are back to work.

The answer to your question is you are not entitled to "pain and suffering" under worker's comp. You are however allowed to file for permanent partial and that may be years after the injury. Depends!
