Legal Question in Administrative Law in Oklahoma

back pay continuing violation each pay day.

I am a employee for an Independent school district. 10 years ago. I was given a state mandated raise. At the time I was making 6.42 the raise was 41/2% My hourly wage should have went to 6.70. Only went to 6.45. They kept 25 cents of the raise. The first year cost me $471.25 it is now up to 38 cents costing me a total of $790.00 I have total documentation. Do I have a snowballs chance?

Re: back pay continuing violation each pay day.

You have an excellent chance. You are also entitled to interest on the back amounts wrongfully withheld, and after 10 years that may be a significant sum.

Contact a lawyer in your area to discuss your options. Initial consultations and case evaluations are usually at no cost - ask first.

Good luck.
