Legal Question in Banking Law in Oklahoma
banking fees
I rent booth space at a Crafter's Mall. My monthly sales checks are to be cut/mailed by the 5th of the following month. I went to get my check on 1/8 but was told there were problems to call 1/9. When I called 1/9 I was told my check was mailed 1/8. I called twice and requested another check be cut as I had bills on auto draft scheduled to come out. My husband made a face to face request for a replacement check on 1/11. Finally at 6:00 p.m. 1/12 we got a replacement check. 1/14 I rec'd the ckeck which was postmarked 1/12. In the interim I incurred $275 in banking overdraft fees. Can I hold them responsible for the overdraft fees?
