I am thinking of filing bankruptcy. I do have about $2,000 saved for a car since mine is a 79. Will that be taken away from me too?

Depends on the state. In most states, you would be able to exempt it. You may be betteroff buying the car before you file, as it maybe exempt while the money wouldn't. Ask yourbankruptcy lawyer.
