Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Oklahoma

Will I be able to keep my house?

Hello. Currently I am unemployed but collecting unemployment. I am married so in addition to my unemployment my husband brings in an income. My husband and I have kept all of our bills seperate including the house. I absolutley cannot lose the house! I was wondering if there is no chance at all of me losing the house if and when I file bankruptcy. The only debt I would reaffirm on is the house. Thank you.

Re: Will I be able to keep my house?

Thank you for your question. I am assuming from your post that the only debts, liens or mortgages on the house other than the one which you plan to reaffirm. Therefore you should be able to reaffirm the note and mortgage and keep the house without any problem provided the payments are kept current.
