Legal Question in Business Law in Oklahoma
human resource
I may be called into a meeting to discuss company practices where i may have to expose decision that my boss has made. Do I have a right to have someone present with me or to record the conversation since I do not trust the situation.

Yes, particularly if you feel uncomfortable with the situation and if it something you feel can be used against you, however, you must notified those attending of your intent to include a third party and that party must remain inpartial, they also must be an employee of the company. their only purpose it to witness the discuss of the meeting. A law was passed supporting this type of situation.
