Legal Question in Business Law in Oklahoma

Wal-Mart

i was wondering how wal-mart can write you up for not signing a write up you refused to sign. i was told that if i didn't sign the write up for my absences that i would be wrote up with a ''decision day'' which is them giving me the day off to think about and write out an explanation on why i shouldn't be fired. so how can wal-mart write me up again and then possibly fire me for not signing their write up. also, on a different topic, i was held back from a better position because an asst. manager and a csm (customer service manager) conspired against me giving me no chance at the available position. i'm not sure exactly what was said but a statement was wrote for the general manager by a co-worker (who heard the asst. manager and csm speaking about me) to review. during that time i decided to drop the complaint againt the manager and csm. can i still file a grievence?

Re: Wal-Mart

Oklahoma is an at-will employment state. The employer can terminate an employee for any reason or for no reason at all. A court will be unlikely to intervene in a dispute between you and Walmart over a write-up incident.
