Legal Question in Business Law in Oklahoma

A few weeks ago my mother got a call from an advertisment that sends a books, CDs, and everything that had to do with learning English. My mother accepted to it and gave her information and they also asked for three refrences. A week later my mother was layer off and wasn't going to be able to pay for the English corses and called to cancel but they threatened her by telling her if she did not pay and recieve the corse they were going to find out where her three refrences lived and charge them. They never told her they would charge the three references if she could not pay.. They also are telling her they are going to sue her if her nor her three references pay.

What should we do?? Is it correct what they are doing?

Any attorney will say more information is needed, as well as a complete review of all facts, documents, etc. There is no way they can charge the references. It is probably just an outrageous bluff on their part to scare your mother. Consult with a good business attorney in your area for specific advice.
