Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Oklahoma
We bought a cat from a breeder and it died
I bought a cat for $300.00 and The breeder told me and my wife that the cat was very playful and in very good health. The cat was never playful or in good health. When I got home from work 4 days after we got her she could not even walk so my wife ran her to the vet at mi night and the vet told us that the cat was 5 to 8% dehydrated and anemic and she has neurologic problems. Can I sue to get my money back and vet bill? Thank You

Re: We bought a cat from a breeder and it died
You can sue, but I don't know if you'll win; it depends on what the breeder said, and what you've got in writing (eg, any paperwork he gave you, breeder's advertisements, web page, etc.). This would be a small claims filing, which you can do yourself. The question is, did the breeder breach any warranty, and what evidence you have to show he did.
