Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Oklahoma
court legal notices
I am being fined by the city of Sawyer for debri in my yard. I was sent a certified letter which was returned before I recieved it as I do not go to the post office frequently.
Upon calling the town clerck I was told that the letter stated that I had 10 days to clean my yard or be fined. From which time should the 10 days begin? From the time the letter was mailed or from the time that I recieve it?

Re: court legal notices
The 10-day notification began at the time of your knowledge or service. And, it should be 10 working days from this notice.
