Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Oklahoma

drivers license

if you were to get a ticket for no insurance verification, &went to court & plead not guilty& ,judge dropped the charge , because you did have verification,& then 2 years later you findout that your license was suspended because of that ticket that got dropped,& you went to jail for driving under suspension, for that ticket 2 years ago ,and you have the paper that shows where you got it dropped.Iwas working for a car dealer ship and transporting vehicles, insurance verification is not always available at that time nor tags even on vehicles ,we showed the dot thesame thing that we showed the judge and they say that the insurance co. had to fill out paperwork & fax it to them but that was2 years ago and the dealer is no longer open due to retiring, but why wouldnt the paper we showed the judge be enough for the d.o.t.since she dropped the charge?

Re: drivers license

If you went to court, for this the Judge should have a docket and/or dismissal filed showing the case dismissed for cause. And,that you presented proof of your insurance at the time you received your ticket. You also can take a copy of this verification to the Dept of Public Safety to prove you had insurance and to reinstate your Driver's license without paying the required fee. I recommend you do both, if necessary.
