Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Oklahoma

false accusations

What can be done to stop a person from making false accusations about you. I have a restraining order against ''Mark'' and his ex-wife has one against me, and she has told the Sheriff that I have called her home on numerous occasions, which I have not. ''Mark'', in the past has told the FBI, before my restraining order against him, that I have sent him anthrax in the mail, which I did not, which the FBI concluded. Help, I want these accusations to stop and bring some sort of legal action against these false statements. Thank you very much.

Check with a trial lawyer in your town about Defamation of Character, False Reporting, Libel, Slander and the intentional infliction of emotional distress. Your Bar Association will recommend qualified attorneys.

Initial consultations/case evaluations are usually done at no cost - ask first.
