can a landlord just us his key and walk into my home any time , we were sleep and my son woke up with him standing over him hiting the sofa asking were my husband was,because we are late on rent both my husband and i lost our jobs.

No, he cannot walk in just like that. You can ask him to stop in writing. However, if you have not paid your rent, you need to make arrangments to move out and to pay what is owing.
