Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Oklahoma
I am the legal owner of a vehicle that I lend to my sister to use to get to work with. She has since received her another vehicle. She has now gave the vehicle without my acknowledgment to someone else to drive it . I told her over a year ago if she would just go down and get title in her name I would give it to her but she still hasn't and has lost the title to it. I am now wanting to go get my car from the person she has now been letting drive the vehicle. I am the owner of vehicle and I want to know if I can legally go get my vehicle and I also would have an police escort to be there with me?

Yes. And, it is recommended that you do so immediately. As long as the vehicle is registered in your name you have legal possession and responsibility for the vehicle. The Department of Motor Vehicles should be able to help you with the title or proof of registration.
In the meantime, you should gain possession just in case there is an accident, crime or injury associated with the vehicle and the person with the vehicle can be charged with unauthorized use if he/she refuses to surrender it to you.
