Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Oklahoma
Stolen email.
What are the laws against stealing someone private emails, forwarding them to your email address, and then posting them on Myspace. This has recently happened to me. What can I do?

Re: Stolen email.
Gather evidence and consult an attorney. One of the main questions is going to be whether or not there was "theft,"--if you shared a computer, then it's probably not theft.
On the other hand, if the disclosure on MySpace was meant to embarrass you, the "theft" prong may not matter as much, since you did have a right not to have your private material shared with others who did not have access to your computer.
