having ice chest searched in a national park
while camping at a section of a no drinking part of a national park in oklahoma there was a beer can beside the trash can, the ranger saw the can and went through all of our ice chest and looked in our cars with out asking for permission, is this legal

It sounds like he had probable cause to search. Also sounds like he didn't find anything and you weren't arrested so he problem.
