Legal Question in Constitutional Law in Oklahoma
How to recover firearm used in suicide that belongs to me not the person who committed suicide and ruled suicide by medical examiner. I was told it is an open case even after 6 months.

This issue here may be accessibility of a firearm that lead to; or contributed, the death of another. Even though the individual who committed suicide did not own the firearm, should not have been available to the individual.
The right to bear arms is a constitutional right of a person to own firearms but the "registered" weapons must also be secured according to law. In this case, neglect may be a consideration. Either way, it is difficult to respond entirely to your question you did not provide enough information regarding the victim ior circumstances surrounding the suicide. This limits our ability to fully respond to your question.
