Can I go to jail or lose my home for not paying my credit card bills?

You're not likely to go to jail for not paying credit card bills; debtor's prisons are a thing of the past in the United States. If everyone who missed a credit card payment were put in jail, we'd need a lot more jail space. You can go to jail for committing a crime with a credit card (e.g., fraud, theft, etc.), depending on what you did, past record, and a host of other things.
You're also unlikely to lose your house by not paying a credit card bill, that is unless you're hugely in debt and are forced to bankruptcy. Then, there is a possiblity that you could lose your home under the right circumstances.
