Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Oklahoma

co-signer on friends credit card

A friend asked me a co-sign on a credit card which she purchased a $7,000.00 TV. Now she has quite making the payments and I have been to not ruin my credit. Is there anything legally I can do to either get the merchandised returned to the store or or some way get my name off this loan? I now live in Texas and she lives in Oklahoma.

and she has the TV..all you could do is sue..and she probably can't pay..and you can check how to put it on her credit..sad and expensive lesson
