Re: Credit Card - bankruptcy-divorce
Since you apparently did not cancel the credit card during the divorce, you remained a co-obligor on the card long after the divorce was finalized. The divorce decree effects obligations between you and your husband, but not between you and the creditor. You should contact an attorney regarding the remote possibility that you could file a "contempt citation" against your ex for failure to pay the debt under the decree.
