Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Oklahoma

A few months ago I had to hire an attorney to handle a collection matter for me. They were able to have the collection company Drop the case and had it dismissed for failure to provide proof of debt. The collection company sold the file without informing the new company of the legal dismissal and now the new company says they are filing all over again. What can I do to get this matter done with once and for all?

Go back to your lawyer and ask her to take care of it. The dismissal should be effective as to this company.
