Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Oklahoma

not payment of a car loan

I bought a brand new car in 1994 in oklahoma but I had to give it back since I could not keep making the monthly payments of the loan. So I call the credit entity and they advised to deliver the car at the indicated car dealer. Now, 9 years latter they are contacting me in order to payout the debt. What are my options? Is there a time frame for the credit entity to collect the debt? I do not have the funds to payout the debt, what should I do?
