Can a processor server leave papers that I refused, on my doorstep after being informed the person being served (my son)does not and has not for 20 years, live at my address, then tell me that person has 30 days to respond?

If your son did not live at the address, it was improper service. You should file an affidavit in the court file ASAP so the judge does not grant a default judgment.
