Promissory
I signed a ''Promissory Note, Customer Assignment and Eft Authorization'' agreement that I am now disputing. This was set-up as a automatic withdraw from my checking account. If I stop payment of the check, what kind of reprecussion do I face?

You need to talk to an atty. I am not sure why you signed a promissory note. To whom did you sign this note and for what? If this is one of those reorganizations companies then I think it highly improper.
