age concent

i am a 21 year old male that has a 17 year old girlfriend and her mother does not know that we are having sex. She doesn't want to tell her mother because she is afried that she will send me to jail. What I want to know is the legal age to consent to sex is 16 in Oklahoma thankyou for your time.

All due respect to Chad, but why fight a battle you don't have to. Just keep your panties on. Even though she is of legal age to consent, Mom can still make your life most difficult. And if she convinces the girl that you are in the wrong FOR ANY REASON, you could be facing serious penalties. Is it that important? I think not!

the response by herb southern is right on. You are currently just asking for trouble that nobody needs. Sorry for sounding so puritan, but just look at the news lately -- if you are having sex outside of a lawful marriage, you are not being very wise, I don't care how old the girl is.
