Legal Question in Criminal Law in Oklahoma
aggravatted assult and battery
happened in 2005,was arressted on charge 12/30/2007,no weapons involved,her false plate fail out of her mouth when it hit the ground 3 teeth broke off it ,whats the worst that can happen to me on this charge,is there some kind of statue of limitations on this

In Oklahoma, the State has 3 years to file an aggravated assault and battery charge from the time it happened. Once it is filed, it does not matter how long it takes to arrest you.
For someone who has no prior felony convictions, aggravated assault and battery carries from 0 to 5 years and up to a $500 fine.
