bogus check
If there was just one check written over $1000.00, and didn't clear the bank after two times is that considered a felony or a misdemenor?

The issue of "didn't clear the bank after two times" is not relevant. The issue is that anyone with intent to cheat and defraud writes a bogus check in any amount over $500 is guilty of a felony.
