Legal Question in Criminal Law in Oklahoma
how do i get charges dropped against my boyfriend. I accused him of domestic abuse. I lied because i was mad at him. And i wanted to hurt him. I told the officer i lied. But he didn't care. My boyfriend hasn't been arrest yet. so how can i get it dropped?

You could call the District Attorney and ask him to dismiss the case. He might do it, but he does not have to. The problem is if you tell him that you lied in making the report, you will in all likelihood be charged with making a false police report.
