if you are in prison and your 5 years is up in two weeks but you get a write up can that add extra time to you where you would have to stay past that 5 year sentince that you went in there for?

I certainly do not understand that mysterious workings of Oklahoma DOC. Almost no one does.

However, one cannot have time added on to their original sentence. A 5 year sentence in Oklahoma would be discharged in about 18 - 24 months IF the inmate gets ALL of his good time credit.

So with the example you have given if the person was about to discharge his 5 year sentence in 24 months and then committed some violation that kept him from getting all of his good time credit, then some additional time could be added to that 24 months. However, if one is sentenced to 5 years then he can not be required to serve more than 5 whole years even if he commits some type of administrative violation.
