Legal Question in Criminal Law in Oklahoma

Domestic Violence/Criminal Defense

I filed a police report against my boyfriend for domestic violence and lied about everything in it. The police took pictures of my ''injuries''. I didn't want to press charges, but the state found enough evidence and decided to press charges against him. The charges are domestic assault and battery by strangulation and threatening an act of violence. He was arrested on 3/20, preliminary trial set for 3/26. what can i do to keep him and myself out of trouble if anything??

Re: Domestic Violence/Criminal Defense

You cannot keep both him and youself out of trouble. If you made a false police report, you have committed a crime.
