Legal Question in Criminal Law in Oklahoma
Felony charges......
If you were CHARGED with sexual abusing a minor, and then the D.A. tells you that if they can add a A A&B charge and you plea no contest to the AA&B, that they would give you a 3 year differed sentence and they will dissmiss the abusing charge. If you took this deal, would you HAVE to go to sexual counceling because you were CHARGED. Eventhough the SAM was dissmissed? I thought if something was dissmissed, it was DISSMISSED!

It is just a plea negotiation. You are avoiding trial on SB, the DA is willing to do it if you do the counseling. Oklahoma juries tend to be pretty gullible too. Unless you have a good defense, you may wish to take this deal.
