In the oklahoma dillard's we were arrested for grand larceny. We were still in the store t the ie when they stopped u.s. How did n't they know tat our nintnt was t buy the clothing/

That is a question for the judge to decide at the preliminary hearing. However, the burden of proof at preliminary hearing is only probable cause.
If the case goes past preliminary hearing, then it will be a question for the jury to decide at trial. However, the burden of proof at jury trial is proof beyond a reasonable doubt.
