Legal Question in Criminal Law in Oklahoma
How can someone be held in custody if the alleged victim of the crime has 11 oustanding warrants and is obviously not planning on returning? Is that normal? What do we need to do?

Whether an alleged victim has 11 or 111 warrants pending for them has nothing to do whether someone can be charged with a crime against the person and kept in jail pending posting bond. Whether an alleged victim is not planning on returning or not them has nothing to do whether someone can be charged with a crime against the person and kept in jail pending posting bond. If the alleged person does not return that will be dealt with a preliminary hearing and/or trial.
What you need to do is hire a competent attorney that know how to handle criminal cases.
