Legal Question in Criminal Law in Oklahoma

I came home to find a note from animal control on my door. Confused, I went outside to check on my, almost, 4 month old puppy & discovered he was gone. I spoke to the animal control officer who informed me she had taken him. She claims he had algae in his water dish, that she had it verified by an expert, and that his collar was too tight. My husband feeds him & gives him water every morning so I don't see how this is even possible. She informed me we will be hearing from the district attorney, as she has filed animal cruelty & neglect charges against us. Help, please.

The animal control officer cannot file any charges against you are anyone else. She can make a report to the District Attorney office. The DA then files a charge if he thinks there is sufficient evidence. Feel free to give me a call, and I will check to see if a case has been filed.
