Legal Question in Criminal Law in Oklahoma

home raid

police raided my home because my son (who has been introuble and estranged to a few years) told police the my husband and friend beat him up and took him to some undiscloed location. where he was released. he told them that my husband was a drug trafficer (according to search warrant). this happened on a sunday according to search warrant and my home was raided on monday. The police found 2lbs of marijuana and 51,000 dollars in our house. My husband is a used car dealer and has been in bussiness for more than 10 years. cash is a part of the bussiness. his charges are kidnapping, forced robbery, and assault. possesion of marijuana with intent to distribute and drug paraphenalia. There is no way my husband kidnapped robbed and assaulted him. This child who is 18 has been in trouble alot. how can they take his word like that in one day and arrange a huge drug raid on my home. and when I say huge I mean there were so many law enforcement around and in my home that you would have thought the mexican cartell was in my house!

Re: home raid

You need to get an attorney immediately. The state will attempt to forfeit the $51,000.00 found in your house within a week or two. If you do not file a claim on that money within a specified time period, it will be lost forever.
