illegal to pick up prescription

A ''friend'' of mine asked me to pick up her RX at the pharmacy. I did and dropped it by her house. She had been requesting a loan but I could not help her out. She got mad and threatened me and said she would call the police and say that I picked up her RX without permission and stole it! She has a troubled history and some mental issues and I have tried to help her and now it has bitten me. What can happen here legally? Should I call police and tell them what is going on or just wait and see what she does. I have never been in trouble with the law my entire life and now I am scared to death she can make trouble for me just based on her false accusation. I am worrying myself sick over this.

Do not call the police. If the police show up or call to talk to you, do not answer any questions....EVEN IF you think you can explain it all. Get an attorney and refer to police to your attorney if they try to talk to you.
