Legal Question in Criminal Law in Oklahoma
In October 2015 there was supposedly and incident that later brought charges on me in May 2016. The charge is interfering with a 911 phone call. I guess a police report was filed in October of 2015 and randomly came up this past May. I was never even confronted by an officer or contacted by anyone. I didn't do the crime but can they bring charges up like this 7 months after the fact?

For most crimes in Oklahoma, the statute of limitations is 3 year. For some crimes it is even longer. So yes, you can be charged with a crime 7 months after the fact.
