Legal Question in Criminal Law in Oklahoma
property(pickup truck)
my truck was confiscated in a traffic stop, no arrest was made. cops say they found $49000 in a secret compartment. i want my truck returned. and what happens to the cash found in the truck, do the cops just keep it or am i entitled to it since its my truck.

The state is going to file forfeiture for the cash and probably for your truck as well. They will allege that the money and truck are the proceeds of drug trafficking and/or were found in close proximately to drugs.
You need to get an attorney ASAP to respond to the forfeiture proceeding. If you do not file a response, the state will take you property by default, and you will never have a chance to your property back.
