Legal Question in Criminal Law in Oklahoma
I recently found out through an employment background check that three years ago apparently there was a bounced check. I was never aware of it and in 2008 there was a warrant issued for my arrest for a misdemeanor of bogus checks. There are fees attached to it now and it is in excess of $2000.00. I do not have the money to pay it in full but wonder what happens with that type of charge, how do I work it out to pay them in payments, or is that an option?

If there is a warrant out, then it is too late to try and work out a payment plan at this point. You would have to surrender yourself on the warrant. You will then get into the court system, and at one of your court hearings you would try to work out a payment plan with the DA's office.
